The Shamelessly Female-Centric Magneto Graphics Page

So I went looking for Magneto pics on the Web, and you know what? I bet every single page was put up by guys. No cute pics, no sexy pics, no tender pics-- all there is is a lot of Magneto in his helmet, grimacing.

Well, you know what? On this page, there is not one single picture of Magneto in his helmet. So there. Nyaah.

magilyna.jpg Magneto comforts Illyana in New Mutants #52. Writer for the dialogue boxes was Chris Claremont; artists are Rick Leonardi (penciler), Dan Green (inker), and Petra Scotese (colorist.)

magshowr.jpg Magneto in the shower. You thought I was joking when I said this page was shameless? :-) Fill-in art from Classic X-Men #19. Writer: Chris Claremont. Artists: Kieron Dwyer (penciler), Terry Austin (inker), Petra Scotese (colorist).

magrog1.jpg Magneto and Rogue, an early appearance in their association. After what their relationship became later, I thought this picture was hilarious if you take it out of context. The context was Marvel Fanfare #33. Writer: Chris Claremont. Artists: June Brigman (penciler), Terry Austin (inker), Glynis Oliver (colorist.)

magxav1.jpg Xavier is dying and has asked Magneto to take the New Mutants for him. I don't care what retcons they try to perform on both the characters, I am and always was a fan of the friendship between Xavier and Magneto, and I thought this scene was very touching. From Uncanny X-Men #200. Writer: Chris Claremont. Artists: John Romita Jr (penciler), Dan Green (artist), and Glynis Oliver (colorist.)

magpb.jpg Magneto at Magda's grave. I was unhappy with the retcon of Magneto's ethnicity in this issue, but the rest of the issue was just fine. This scene-- a full page from toward the end of the issue, where a sniper takes aim at Magneto as he visits his wife's grave-- is beautiful. X-Men Unlimited #2. Writer: Fabian Nicieza. Artists: Jan Duursema (penciler), Dan Panosian, Keith Williams, Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Rubinstein (all inkers), Marie Javins (colorist.)

bliss_magb&w.jpg Fan art by Bliss, in black and white: Magneto goes bathing in a pool. Painted, rather more realistic than typical comic book art.

bliss_joseph.jpg More fan art by Bliss, of Joseph: Okay, originally I said there wasn't going to be any Joseph on this page, but if he always looked this adorable I would change my mind. :-).
