This is part two of Brave New World & New Challenges

Characters belong to both Paramount and also Universal Studios,
But this Story does belong to me and had been printed and put on
hard copy and witnessed and dated and time stamped,.   This story
was created and written by me with the FCC Amateur Licensed
Station Call Sign:   KF4SQL,.   For mine and others reading
enjoyment so enjoy the story and please don't send me net-Grump
E-Mail's  About FAQ's of either ATX or like wise... Now if you
want to Grump me about the story I'm open and all game to that.

     [ Brave New World, New Challenges ] 

[ Part 2 ]

















     Callisto says,  That's right... I don't want a mob of
starved Centaurs and Humans,  come and lynch me in the morning,. 
and they all giggle it off,.   Then all of the sudden some
sensation    over comes  Callisto and then Xena and even
Gabrielle.. but it was strongest for Callisto,.




     Xena says,  You two also had that strange feeling like
someone we know and care about was saying something to us,. 
Callisto was a little stunned by that sensation,.   Gabrielle
says,  I didn't like it... Its like something terrible has just
happened,.



     Xena and Gabby go next to Callisto Xena puts her arm around
her shoulders and says,  Are you Ok... What was that ?,. 
Callisto in a dazed and somewhat confused state softly says,  I
think that was Brian... Saying farewell to us,.  and she sinks
back into the sofa chair she was sitting in,.




     Xena looks puzzled but also concerned due to the fact of
Callistos sudden change of mood as if she's lost someone close to
her,.   Gabrielle also notices this and softly says,  Callisto we
know somethings wrong,.. but its important that you tell us what
you believe has just happened,.  Callisto just stares in a dazed
state of mind and then says,  Its Brian... He's  Gone!.




     [ To Be Continued ]




     Gabrielle says,  Gone ?,... to ware ?,.   Callisto says, I
can't locate him any ware or in any time period... he's totally
Gone,.  Xena is now concerned over what Callisto just said and
says,  Do you mean he's gone... as in Dead ?,.   Callisto brakes
out in a few tears and softly says,  Yes... I think he's just
died,.  Xena knowing Solen was with him Softly says,  Solen was
with him... and if Brian has been killed by something Solen could
still be alive and in grave danger,.






     Callisto then pulls herself together and says,  If he's been
killed by something that powerful,.   Xena says,  take us both
along with you,.   Then Callisto transports with Xena and
Gabrielle along with her,.   They appear at brians last known
whereabouts,.  The Fairies have already disappeared,.   









     Xena and Gabrielle look around and assess the surroundings
in this forest and area,.   Xena says,  If I didn't know any
better I'd swear were in the Banchie forest,. Gabrielle says,  Me
too and looks over to Callisto who says,  I believe that's ware
were at right now,.  and its dark as ever but they can see pretty
well due to the big bond fire at the campsite,.   




     Xena and Gabrielle go over to it and Xena says,  This was
them alright... I notice the sleeping bags and other gear
here...and looks at the two phaser rifles but Solen nor Brian are
any ware to be found,.   Xena picks up one of the Rifles and
notices it hasn't been turned off and was left on rapid firing
and then looks at the number of shots fired that the count reset
button wasn't used either,.   Xena can't believe the number of
rounds that have been fired off out of this thing and then looks
at the other and finds almost the same thing,.  Xena says,  What
ever it was neither of them gave up with out putting up a good
fire fight,.




     Xena looks to Gabrielle and says,  But do you notice whats
wrong here ?,.  Gabrielle says,  yeah with that many rounds
having gone off... Look around wares the fires and smoke,.  Xena
says,  I don't think they fired them off here... but earlier
on...  Maybe to make a clearing in a dense area,.    Xena says,
If he had told me they were going into the forest of the Banchies
I never would have allowed Solen to go,.   Gabrielle says,  I
can't believe something as insignificant as Banchies could have
killed someone like Brian,.  Callisto softly says,  all it takes
is someone or something with the right tools and knowledge to
Kill one of us,.   Xena says,  Hope,... or was it Dahok ?,.





     Callisto says,  I don't know... I don't sense that they were
recently present here,.   Xena is upset at the situation here and
says,  Who else would want and have more then enough motive to
not only  Kill Brian but also my son... Solen,.  and Xena brakes
into tears too,.  Gabrielle takes Xena into her arms to comfort
her,.   Gabrielle notices that Callisto is concentrating on
something as if she were either trying to locate or contact
someone,.






     Gabrielle ask,  Are you trying to call out to Brian or
locate either of them ?,.   Callisto softly says,  I haven't been
able to locate them... I'm calling out to our mother and uncle,.  
and after a few more moments callistos adopted mother appears
along with her uncle whos with her,.  They both come to her side
and she falls into callistos arms,.  Then Q says,  We will get to
the bottom of whats happened here... I promise you that much,.





     Xena over heard what was just said and says,  That's what
Brian said to me... and look what happened to not only him but my
son too,.   Q ask,  What did he say to you ?,.  Xena says,  My
son was or has been having problems with misbehavior and Brian
said something to the tone of that he thought there might be more
going on then was obvious to any of our eyes,.   Q says, I wonder
what he was talking about,.  Xena says, I don't know he didn't
tell me... Nor did he tell me they were coming here.





     Then another transport flash happens,.  Another Q has
appeared..  Xena nor Gabrielle have never met this Q, before,.  Q
asks,  Trelane you felt him pass away too ?,.   Trelane says, yes
I felt my cousin's death,..I want to know why has his existence
ended so pre-maturely,...  He then ask... Have any of you checked
the last moments when he was still here ?,.   Q looks over to
Callisto who motions her head with a no,.









     Trelane says,  Ok.. That's settled then.... The only way
were going to know what happened is if we take a look,... and
Trelane rises his arm and snaps his fingers and then on the fire
an image of both Brian and Solen together appears,.   Solen
saying,  were ready...  Then they see and hear brian saying, 
Ok...  This may be the last thing either of us may see for a long
time yet to come,.  and then they see brian standing behind solen
and then he raps his arms around him to enclose him and then they
both fade out into nothingness,.  not one of them can comprehend
why has brian thrown himself into oblivion so pre-maturely other
then the fact now stands he's done it.. not only to himself but
also claimed a mortal that went along with him willingly,.








     Callisto can't understand why has brian done such a thing at
an early age other then he has Committed whats considered as a
Suicide now,.   Trelane says,  Well its obvious he didn't die in
some fight or battle nor was he killed by something... Instead
he's ended his existence with a mortal in his company too,.




     Q says,  I see it... But I can't believe it... but he has
done it...  Why ?,.   Trelane says,   I told him long ago not to
get too involved with human affairs... now see whats happened to
him,.   Brian's mother says,  He has to have had a better reason
then just wanting to end it all,.   Trelane says,  Well we do
know for sure he has ended it willingly and nothing else has
caused his death,.    Q agrees with Trelanes statement and takes
his sister into his arms and Q ask,  Callisto are you coming
along,.   Callisto says,  I've got a few things to do,  I'll be
home shortly later on,.   and Q Disappears with his grieving
sister,.




     Callisto goes over to Xena and Gabrielle and in the softest
tone of voice says,  There isn't anything I nor any of us can do
for either of them now... I'm sorry Xena my Brother and probably
the only person that even ever really cared for me besides the
two of you has done this to you,.   






     Xena says,  It isn't your fault... I shouldn't have gotten
Brian involved with the problems I was having with Solen... It
must have had some kind of tearable impact on him,... so badly
that Solen must have convinced him to end it all along with him
at the same time,.



     Then Trelane says,  a Q'  getting so involved with mere
humans he decides to end it all... how repulsive,.  Xena snaps at
Trelanes Comments and says,  IF YOU ONLY KNEW... what its like to
be Human or Mortal you'd understand whats going on,.  










     Trelane in an obnoxious way says,  Yeah and look whats
happened here... and then he says,  So your my adopted Cousin...
Callisto is it ?,.   Callisto says,   Yeah... and whats it to
you... I hardly even know you,.   Trelane says,   Oh... You'll
surely get to know me soon,.. and so will you Xena and your
blonde hair friend... ha ha ha ha.. and then Trelane disappears,.




     Xena says,  What was that all about ?,.  Callisto says,
Trouble Xena...  He's going to give you a try.. one day when ever
he gets around to it,.  Gabrielle says,  That's all we need now..
that Brian is gone,  Someone else from the Continuum to come and
rake havoc for us,.  Callisto says,  what I do know about him is
he's  been bared from the continuum until he cleans up his act, 
But he will tease and pester you from time to time like my uncle
does to others,.   Xena says,  he sounds like a swell guy to me,. 
I only wish that their were fewer of him around,.  Callisto says, 
I understand that... now I better get this gear out of here or
someone else could get hurt,.



     Callisto uses her powers to get rid of the camping gear and
the weapons too,.  Xena says,  Wait a minute... Brian toke Kitt
along with him...So ware is he ?,.  Callisto concentrates and
says,  He's over there,.  and they all head over to him now,.





     They all get inside of Kitt,.   Kitt is surprised to see
them here on this world again,.   Xena was getting ready to tell
him the bad news but Callisto says,  I better be the one who
brakes the news to him... since after all I'll be the one taken
care of him,.




     Callisto says,  Kitt I don't know how your programming will
take this... But its about Brian,.   Kitt says,  Brian whats
happened to him ?,.   Callisto then Explains everything to Kitt
now,.  Whos programming doesn't fully comprehend grief,.  Kitt
then inquires as to what he's going to be doing now,.  Callisto
ask, Did he have any assignments for you here ?,.  








      Xena says,  He was to have lent him over to Hercules for a
short period of time after this little so called diversion trip,. 
Callisto says,  I believe he wanted to have hercules put some
cult that's sprung off from the worshippers of hope and dahok,..
Under watch to determine if they are searching for someone that's
of importance,... I'll see that its done Kitt,.




     Xena who's in the drivers seat notices that Kitts
surveillance mode has been active ever since they stepped into
Kitt,.  Xena ask,  Kitt who put you into your Surveillance mode
?,.  Kitt says,  Solen did...  It sure wasn't Brian... He
seldomly puts me in that mode,.




     Xena ask,.  You were in that mode since the moment they both
stepped out of you ?,.   Kitt says,  Yes but I wasn't paying
close attention to it...but all the data has been stored on my
system,.  Xena says,  Do you have visuals ?,.  Kitt says,  No..
Unfortunitly they were both outside that scope and plus all the
trees... but I do have almost full audio and the scans stored,.







     Gabrielle says,  Xena... Are you sure you want to hear it
all over again and the full version of all the events that lead
to both of them ending it all ?,.   Xena says,  I have to know if
it was really that,.   Xena tells kitt lets hear it all,.




     Callisto says,  Kitt.. Hold that...  Xena I know how to do
what Trelane did ... I'll just go farther back,.   Xena says, 
That sounds better then what kitt would have since they were out
of picture range of him,.    




     Then Callisto uses her powers and an image appears in front
of them and they can also hear whats going on again... and much
more earlier then the last moments of both Solen and Brian and
what lead to all of this to begin with,.





     After seeing all of the events and what has happened to the
Banchies having had there Curse Broken by Brian,.   The Image
stops...  Callisto says,  I Don't believe what we just saw.. But
this is what actually happened...  Gabrielle says,  That Explains
why we haven't seen the banchies... Its night and that's when
they are known to strike,.   Xena says,  Continue,.  and Callisto
makes the frozen image  continue,.



     After seeing all the facts... Xena ask,   Will any of us
ever see them again ?,.   Callisto says,  I don't know,. 
Gabrielle says,  But now we fully understand why this has
happened.... and it wasn't a Suicide like Trelane had every one
believing,.



     Callisto says,  I'm not sure... But I believe Brian is the
only Q that's ever gave his life to attempt to save a life of a
human/mortal before.   Xena and Gabrielles hopes raise for a
minute but then Xena ask,  Is this a Good Sign ?,.   Callisto
says,  I don't know ?,.    Xena says,  You can go and visit
others that have past on like your blood mother and sister... How
come you can't go and find brian & solen ?,.





     Callisto says,  I'm new to this Q continuum... but I've been
told and its been said...We can't visit our dead in an after
life,.   Xena and Gabrielle are puzzled by what Callisto just
said and Gabrielle says,  We don't understand,  Why not ?,.




     Callisto says,  Xena... Gabby..  Mortals past threw a
different... How can I say this so you can understand it
clearly,..... Q's and Mortals pass threw different gates when we
die,....  Q's go into a state of either abliss or an oblivion
kind of state... mortals move into an after existence,.
Xena then ask... We always thought the Q's were more or less like
the Gods of Olympus and never die unless they are poisoned or
something like that,.   Callisto says, From what I know... Even a
Q after having existing for what would seem like an eternity to a
mortal even becomes tired of existing for ever and ever,.






     Gabrielle softly says,   After living for such a long
time...They just throe them selfs into oblivious,.... and none of
them are known to have ever returned,...  Gabrielle thinks this
all over and says,  xena... Brian not only toke one mortal but
Two of them along with him... What about the spirit or soul that
was somehow put into solen ?,.




     Xena says,  Yeah.. Brian past on with two others,.  Callisto
says,  this is a vary complicated problem... and I've only
started out... I need to consult with other Q's about this and
also my Q mother and Uncle need to know the full story not just
what Trelane showed them,.





     Xena says,  Callisto neither me nor Gabrielle expect you to
have all the answers of the universe... We both know your under
allot of stress,.  Callisto says,  I am,.  Xena says,  so are
we.. your not alone,. 







     Callisto says,  Kitt... I'm going to send you to Hercules by
yourself and then I'm going to return Xena and Gabrielle to there
new home... and I'll come for you and Hercules as soon as I can,.
Kitt says,  I've got all the information so I can more or less
tell hercules.. Whats going on,.  Callisto says,  Good and she
turns full control over to Kitt,.  and the three of them exit the
car and callisto transports Kitt over to hercules location,.




     Callisto says,  Ok are you two ready ?,.   Xena and Gabby
nodd yes,  and she transports them back to there new home,. 
Callisto says,   I'll come back as soon as I can... and if I
learn anything new You two will be the first to know whats going
on,.   Xena, Gabby, and Callisto are in a three way hug of
comforting each other,.   Xena softly says,  bye.. and callisto
disappears,.



     Callisto appears in her home inside the Q continuum,.  her
Uncle is there,.   Q says,  your mother is resting right now,. 
Callisto says,  I found out Brian didn't commit Suicide He Ended
his existence for a vary good reason,.   



     Q says,   And what was the reason ?,.   Callisto explains
everything she learned after they left,.  Q is now puzzled over
Brians actions and says,  I don't know of any Q that's ever
sacrificed himself to save a mortal from either dying or going
insane before dying,.  Callisto says,  That's whats happened and
its the full truth too,.   Q says,  this is even beyond my
knowledge or experience,...  Tomorrow were going to present the
full facts of what you've said to the council leader and others,. 




     Callisto ask,  What does all of this mean... do you have any
idea ?,.  Q says,  I don't know...  Just the news being let out
about Brian's believed Suicide with a human has others in shock
right now... I don't know what to expect when we brake news of
whats really happened,.   Callisto ask,  Could all of this mean
an imminent danger to the Continuum's integrity ?,.  Q says,  I'm
just like you my dear niece ... This all raises more questions
then I or you have answers for,.   then callisto goes to bed ..
to further grieve her loses with such the hart ache she has from
all of this.. and yet She doesn't know what is yet to come,.





     When the morning came,.   They went to the councils leader,.
and informed him of the full findings and facts,.   The leaders
conclusion was that this matter is not in our hands and that if
brian has done this only one of the first could possibly free him
out of the abliss that he's thrown himself into along with a
human in tow,.



     Q tells callisto did you notice how his eyes froze for just
a fraction of a second when you told him about what the fairies
told him that he was the emissary between the forces of goodness
and badness,.








     Callisto says,  Yes.. but I thought that he was just shocked
by that statement,.  Q says,  Yes he was... but you don't know
him as long as I've known him.. and that's got his attention,.



     Callisto says,  So... do you know something that he can do
that most others aren't aware of ?,.  Q says,  Well I've only
heard this from a Q that's close to him...  I've been told that
his powers will allow him to cross over into the abliss /
oblivious with out him getting caught up into it,.. but he
doesn't have the powers to free anyone,.




     Callisto says,  What do you suspect he'll do then ?,.  Q
says,  Later on more then likely he's going to go and try and
confirm for himself that Brian is in fact trapped in an oblivious
state,... and who knows what he's going to find over there,.
Callisto ask,  and what should he find,.   Q says,  from what I
know both Brian and Solen and if solen was in fact in possession
of anothers spirit or soul he should find it in there company
too,.










     Callisto ask,.  You mean when or if a Q enters there with
lets say a wife or husband that they should be next to each other
frozen in an oblivious state ?,.   Q says,  That what I've been
told but I've never been there so I'm not 100 %  certain either,.
Callisto says,  I just wish them good luck on what's going to be
Brian's biggest challenge he's ever faced before,.  Q says,  me
too.



     Callisto says,  and What about Trelanes sudden appearance
yesterday ?,.   Q says,  ahh.. yes my other nephew,.  I haven't
seen him for some time... and I was surprised to see him just as
much as you were... I'm surprised Brian even told you about
Trelane,.   Callisto says,  Yeah he told me about him... and a
few things none of you are aware of about him too,.   Q says, 
Oh.. some secret ?,.   Callisto says,  Well lets just say you
weren't the one who gave Brian all the bad Idea's and impressions
of and about humans and mortals... Trelane also played in a few
good parts of it too,.








     Q says,  Its kinda funny due to the fact Trelane has laid
rather low... Ever since he seen what happened to me,  when I was
striped of my powers and made human for a vary short time,.



     Callisto says,  Whats even funnier is the fact none of us
can detect his whereabouts most of the time,.   Q says,  Oh..
he's good at stleathing himself... Who do you think taught me and
brian,.  Callisto says,  I can tell something bothers you about
that fact,.  Q says,  what bugs me so much is the lack of others
complaining about things he's done to them... Its as if he just
walked off the face of the universe,...  Its not like him to just
go completely low key for such a time,... With out idlest mucking
up someones day and doing a misdeed here and there to someone,.












     Callisto says,  Well he gave not only me,  but Xena and her
friend "Gabrielle"  yesterday a good impression that they were
going to get to know him really well sooner or later,.  Q smiles
and says,  He's going to find that,  Them two aren't going to
jump threw his loops vary easily for his amusement,.   Callisto
smiles and says,  Yeah... Between me and the other Olympians in
the past,  Xena and her little friend have had more then there
fare share of bad experiences with beings with powers,  Until
Brian came on the scene and put everything in check... including
him and myself in the process,.




     Q says,  that's one of the reasons I never bothered with
them two,.  This conversation has kind of brought Callisto out of
the somber mood she's been in since brian's believed death,. 
Callisto says,  Oh... Your afraid that you might have bitten off
more then you could chew.. So you had setup brian instead,.



     Q been afraid to admit to that fact says,  Well at the time
we needed something to turn him around and they were the best
thing we could find... but Dahok wasn't in the plan to begin
with.. Just a coincidence we found him there,.  Callisto ask,. 
So you and mother intended to have him striped of his powers and
made mortal and sent to them that way,... Until you discovered
what was going on,.




     Q says, Yes that was in mind.. then we realized he wouldn't
have a fare chance as a mere human,... and plus even with his
powers we both knew He'd somehow screw things up,.  Callisto
says,  Until you two appeared and I seen two of his own kin turn
there backs to him.. I was ready to pulverize him since Hope
managed to discharge his powers threw that human "Joxer" he
extended them over to,.


     Q says,  and that still to this day,  makes me wonder how
much the first woman Q leader played in all of it,.   Callisto
says,  We might not ever know that in this life of existence,.
Callisto thinks that all over and the few appearances of this
woman and says,  I can recall that she said Brian gained more
then what was intended for him to out of all of that,.  Q says,
was it learning and experiencing human compassion and humanity..
or was it more then that,.   





     Callisto says,  It could be that and when he was faced with
either watching both Xena and her son who would have suffered a
slow death of madness he knew this would hurt xena so badly he
decided it would be better to end it with both of them together
in death,.   Q says,  hmm..  It was that Joining he had with him
before they left... It was something about what happened to that
other soul he seen inside of him,.   Callisto says,  Well from
what we do know another force of darkness is involved and what I
could tell by Brian's expressions when he was joined with them
both inside solen,  Was that,  Brian sensed overwhelming terror
from that soul,.




     Q thinks this over and says,  No wonder he couldn't force it
out of him... The Dammed soul was entrenched inside him,. 
Callisto ask,  You mean we can force something like that out with
our joining ?,.   Q says,  Well I've never joined with a human or
mortal before... but I believe we can under normal
circumstances,.










     Callisto says,  Like if another soul were to go into a human
and I were to join with it I could force it out of them ?,.   Q
says,  More or less... Its the same as if you had an uninvited
guest inside your home.. or an intruder inside it,. 



     Callisto ask,  Then why didn't he just force it out of him,. 
Q says,  There are two possibilities in this case,.  One is that
if he did do that the soul would have had to return to ware it
came from.. and Brian felt that something wasn't right,. 
Callisto says, and the second one ?,.   Q says,  That soul had
entrenched its self inside him due to the fact is was in pure
fear and terror,... and yes brian could have forced it out.. but
its also vary possible that he would have tore Solen apart in the
process of doing that,.








     Callisto having joined along with brian and xena and
gabrielle knew all to well that when either a Q and a mortal a
joined in a manner like that,  They are in a vary delicate state
even thou the Q that's joined to them can willingly be a
domineering force over a humans soul.. But brian knew better then
to enter inside any of them in that manner and always maintained
an equal force with them,...  Callisto then realized how brian
had both xena and herself along with Gabrielle and the manner in
which they were joined... I see our vary first time he needed to
counter balance of ourselfs,.  Me been on one hand of brian and
xena at the other and gabrielle on the other side facing him...
she concluded if they had done it three ways with out gabrielle
and were joined directly to each other they would have torn each
other apart with out Gabrielle acting as another buffer between
them,. then she says to Q,  That would have been a vary awful
thing for brian to have done to solen and who ever else was
inside of him,.




     Then Callisto says,  I'm going to them both now and inform
them of what little we do know,.  Q says,  also.. are you aware
of the fact that until or even if Brian ever returns that your
now the one who's going to have to complete ware he left off at
?,.  Callisto says,  I'm vary well aware of that uncle.. its
funny because he had just started to stand aside and let me take
over wile he'd just observe me,... His student,.   







     Q says,  If you have any major problems I'll be there for
you,.  Callisto says, you mean you'll only be there to coach me
along.. I Know you all to well by now... and how you like to get
your laughs out of others problems and troubles when ever the
opportunity arises and your not the cause of it,.  Q just blushes
with a small smirk on his face and says,  Brian told you too much
about me,.   Callisto just smirks back at him and takes off,.



     [ Meanwhile ]










     Brian and Solen along with another person are appearing in
this place that seems like the land of oblivious to the three of
them,.   Solen notices this girl he's never seen before is with
them,.   Brian says,  You must be Brenda ?,... if i'm right ?,.
She says, Yes I am and she clings ahold of him in fear as if she
were holding on to him for her vary life,.




     Solen says,  Brian I don't remember this happening to me the
last time I died... What is this place,.   Brian says,  I believe
this is ware my kind goes when we end our existence,.  and then
Brian looks around but can't see that far in front of him,. 
Brian says,  I don't believe this white mist were in.. We can't
see anymore then 30 feet in front of us... maybe a little more or
less,.  Solen asks, Brenda... I know you've seen something of the
afterlife... do you remember anything of this place,.  Brenda is
vary timid and nervous says,  I don't remember this either.. but
its certainly better then ware I was before I ended up inside
you,.





     Brian says,  this is all to weird for me.. I have no senses
of myself,.  Solen says,  I don't feel anything,  except lost,. 
Brian says,  If this is it...  Then I must have really put us
into an abliss or oblivious,..  Then brian attempts to use his
powers to see if he could even transport to any place other then
here,. and nothing happens,.   Brain says,  I'm just as powerless
as  you two are,   I have no sense of how to locate the continuum
nor can I even take us there or any ware for that fact,.






     Then Brian starts prying between him and brenda whos starts
crying and says, Please,  Don't push me off of you,  don't make
me let go,.  Brian says,  I'm not trying to do that... I need to
get that device off my side,  so I can see if it can tell me
anything about this place,. and she loosens up enough for him to
pull the Q tricorder scanning device off of him and she quickly
resumes her hold on him,.








     Brian puts his arm around Brenda's shoulders and neck so he
can easily operate the Tricorder with his other hand,.   He scans
this place and can't get any type of readings,.   He runs a check
of it to see if its functioning correctly and it is,.  and he
even tries to scan the three of them that he knows are really
here with him and the Tricorder shows nothing not even himself,. 
Brian says,  I don't believe this... Are we here or aren't we ?,.





     Solen says,  Well its obvious were somewhere... I'm here
your here and she's here,.  Brian says,  Yes I know that.. My
eyes can tell me that much and so can my hands... But to this
device were not even here.. not even myself,.   Solen ask,  Is
that thing working right.. Or is it broken ?,.   Brian says, 
I've already check that out and it tells me its working fine,.. I
just don't have anything to scan.. Not even the ground if that's
what were on,.  Solen becomes slightly concerned and Brian can
tell this and Brian says,  Well I don't know which direction to
start walking but I guess we can start out that way,.  and all
three of them start walking threw the mist,.






     After walking for a wile they see what appears to be someone
standing but can't quite make out who they are or what they even
look like,.  Brian's hopes go up and so do solens,.  Brian says, 
Maybe who ever it is... Can give us some answers about this
place,.   Solen being excited runs ahead of the two of them, and
then all of the sudden stops dead in his tracks,.



     Solen's over come by fear for a second and is now fumbling
for the Phaser Pistol on his side,.   Brian shouts,  WHAT IS IT
?,.    Solen yells back to him,.   IT'S... VELASKA!



     Brian knowing he's powerless,  instinctively out of fear
does the same as Solen has done and Drawls out his Phaser,. 
Brenda lets go of him for the first time since she got ahold of
him and paces him from behind,.   Brian cautiously approaches
next to solen and then they walk up to her,.






     Velaska is not moving or anything,.  Just frozen in place
like a mannequin,.  Brian says,  She looks the same way with the
same expressions and all when I sent her to here,. I guess this
is considered Oblivion after all,.




     Solen says,  But how come she isn't moving around and we are
?,.   Brian says,  Good question and he puts the phaser back to
his side and then removes the Tricorder on the other and attempts
to scan Velaska,.  Brian looks over the scan and says, Its as
before.. I'm getting Nothing,.



     Solen says,  but we are in fact here and so does she have to
be after all what are we seeing here,.  Brian says, I don't know
son... I wish I knew,.. I've been in some of the strangest places
in the universe and this place has me totally mystified like you
two are,.   Then Solen tries to put his hand on Velaska to touch
her but his hands and arm go right threw her as if she were thin
air,.




     Brian sees this and says,  What in the universe just
happened there,.  and tries to touch her too and the same thing
happens to him,.  Solen says, you too,.  Brian says,  yeah.. and
he touches solen and brenda too.. and says,  Well we can feel and
touch each other.. but no one else,.  Solen says,  yeah this is
really strange to me,.   Brian says,  well lets continue in the
same direction we were going,.







     Now with the first,.  The voice tells her,  Brian and the
other two are in the lands of the Q's Oblivious now,.  The First
says,  would you like for me to bring them here ?,.  The voice
says,  No... Let them find there way here... As it is he's
totally puzzled over his situation he's in and so are the two
humans,. the first says,  As you wish.. then.. I'll leave it to
them to find there way here,.


     [ Then ]




     Callisto is now at Xena's house,.  Gabrielle spent the night
with Xena to help comfort her in this difficult time she's going
threw all over again,.  Callisto has a cup of coffee along with
them and then informs them of what little information she does
know,.   Gabrielle says,  So there may always be that slight
possibility that they might return,.  Its just a matter if when
and ware,.   Callisto says,  that's the best any of us can hope
for,... but Q did say something about our leader becoming
concerned for a second when we told him about what the former
banchies told Brian about being the emissary of both Goodness and
Badness,.






     Xena ask,  you can move about in time right ?,.   Callisto
says,  Yes just like I brought you and the others here,.  Xena
says,  Have you considered going back to that place just before
he passed on and stopping them both,.  Callisto says,  me and  my
Uncle have looked over the angles of the problem Brian was faced
with and even if I went back and stopped him for doing what he
did... Solen would still die from madness of having another soul
inside him,.





     Gabrielle thinks that over more logically and says, In other
words if we went back and stopped them not only would solen die
in any case,  but we could also be interfering with an event that
hasn't happened to us yet,.   Callisto says, Hmm... In a sense
yes,.. We could affect and alter a chine of events a certain way
it wasn't suppose to happen,.



     Xena says,  But wasn't Brian's presents in our time on old
earth changing and interfering with the natural time line... and
you bringing us here too ?,.   Callisto says,  In a sense yes it
is... but Its also apart of what went on... and so is bringing
Zeus and the others... I'm going to be the one who does that
now... Unless Brian was to return... but he still planed to stand
aside in any case,.    Gabrielle says,  but its so funny the more
you think about it...The more confusing it becomes,.






     Callisto can tell they can't fully comprehend the business
of moving around in time back and forth,.  Callisto ask,  Would
you two like for me to show you,  how if ones not careful of what
can happen when a chain of events is played around with ?,.  Xena
says,  Well I don't know,.   Gabrielles is also wondering how
shes going to show them,.   Callisto says, It will be quite safe
for all of us,.  I'll just recreate it inside one of the holo
suites at one the recreation centers,.   Xena says,  why not...
Gabby we will probably learn a thing or two,.  Gabrielle thinks
it over and says,  sure as long as were not going to get into
trouble lets go take a look at it then,.  Callisto says,  Ok come
along,.





     They walk over to the building that has a tavern inside and
then enter it,.   Xena says,  a Bar... Were going to learn
something at a Bar,.   Callisto says,  Theirs allot more then a
Tavern here then what others are aware of yet,.  They walk up to
a double set of doors with some controls on the side and see
Callisto use her powers and some kind of disk appears in her
hands,   Then Callisto inserts it in some kind of slot and the
computer bleeps that its loading the information up,.





     Callisto says,  Ready ?,.  They reply yes,.   Callisto says, 
Computer start the program up and put us on the bridge of the
starship  U.S.S. Reliant... with out the crew... I'll instruct
you to put them on later,.   Computer bleeps and says, 
Simulation ready,. you may enter when ready,.   and the doors
open up and they go inside,.




     Xena nor Gabrielle have never seen any thing like it
before,.  Xena says,  Is there some point relevant to timelines
?,.   Callisto says,  Lets just say your going to see Brian in
action in the manner he used to be like,.   Gabrielle says,  Oh..
This is going to be vary interesting... Were going to get to take
a look at the damage he done to others when he was out for his
kicks,.     Then Xena and Gabrielle take a look around the bridge
and Xena ask,  So this thing isn't real just made up by some
other from of technologies,.






     Callisto says,  It would be to complicated to explain it all
to you yet... I know I'm showing you things the two of you aren't
fully prepared for but if you'd like I'll discontinue this all
together,.   Xena sits in the captains center chair and she says, 
Well for a seat that isn't real.. it sure feels comfortable,...
Sure lets see what he did here that was so detrimental to the
time line,.   Gabrielle has taken a seat in front to xenas left,.
callisto sits in the navigational chair and says,  What do you
think of this ship,.    Gabrielle says,  I've never even thought
of anything like it before,... This thing when it was a real ship
went to other worlds among the stars,.   Callisto says,  yes it
sure did until it was destroyed from what lays ahead,.




     Xena says,  Well how did Brian start it ?,.  Callisto says,
Brian moved two worlds obits around and there is a 21st century
mad man on the planet referring to the main screen,.   Gabrielle
ask,  you said the 21st century... How did this mad man live so
long ?,... another Q ?,.   Callisto says,  you'll read about it
in earths history one day and after having seen what your about
to see here you'll understand it all... also the humans aren't
aware that this was caused by a Q either,... and the scene the
two of you will see today has allot of violence in it,.



     Xena says,  Well I've seen more then my share of violence
before,.  Callisto says,  I only said that to prepare Gabrielle
that's all,.  Gabrielle says,  Ok... I'm ready and then Callisto
gets out of the chair and so does Xena and Gabby,. Callisto says,
Computer begin simulation with crew present,. and then the crew
appears and they hear a man talking in a strange accent voice
giving some kind of report,.   Then they see Brian present but
the crew can't see him either,.





     Xena ask,  How come they can't see us either,.  Callisto
says,  We are only observing what happened were they won't
interact with us.  Xena says,  I see.. and then they see brian
laughing at chevos comments,.   Brian says,  to himself oh its
not as lifeless as you think,.









     And then they notice brian used his powers to do something
to the controls of this ship and then he disappears,.  Gabrielle
ask,  He did something but what,.  Callisto says,  he used his
powers so they couldn't get a full sensor reading of what was on
the surface of this world,... and they are going down thinking
they are investigating something else and then they'll be
captured by Khan and his followers,.   Xena says, and that's when
brian starts getting more laughs out of them right ?,.  Callisto
says,  Yeah but there capture isn't anything and then Callisto
stops the simulation and says,.  How could he have avoided this
from happening this way ?,.




     Xena says,  Well he shouldn't have used his powers to
interfere with there systems here,.  Callisto says,  yes that's
one way,... and how about you Gabby ?,.   Gabrielle thinks this
over and what little does she know about space ships but she does
know a few things from Kitt and she says,  Even if brian didn't
want his presents known... He could have sent them a warning
about the danger down there,.   Callisto says,  vary good.. yes
he could have sent them a message with out revealing himself and
even if it was mysterious they would have known something wasn't
right down there,.




     and then she starts the simulation up again and Khan has
already taken over this ship,.  and then they  see them nearing a
science station and Khans people are going over there to kill
them all for some information that they want out of them,.  but
they notice brian isn't any ware here,.   Xena says,  that's what
he told me one time... He didn't hang around for the killings and
slaughters like what was happening there,.   Callisto says, He
sure didn't now I'll advance this scene a little later on,. and
Callisto tells the computer to do it,.







     Then they see brian again with that mischievous looking
smirk on his face,.   the Three of them can tell just by that
he's got this mad man pitted against someone and then they over
hear one of Khan's men trying to reason with him now.. and tell
him lets not go after Kirk... lets go else ware,. 





     Then they Hear what this mad man Khan says in return,.  He
tasked me...  He Tasked me and I shall have him!.. I'll chase him
round the Moons of nebby.. round the antarus mail storm and round
in pardishions Flames!... Before I give him up!.



     The comments that Khan made scared Gabrielle and Xena just a 
little bit,.  and they see Brian laughing about what khan just
told one of his men,.   Gabrielle says,  I can't believe what I
just heard... That man isn't going to stop at anything to have at
someone he hates,.   Xena says,  Gabrielle that man is vary
dangerous and completely mad.. I've seen and dealt with more then
enough of people like him,.   Callisto says, and this was only
the beginning too,. and later on they see another starship
approaching this one,.




      As the two ships are approaching they hear Khan giving out
his orders to slow this ship... With the remarks of Lets be
Friends,.  That made the recreated holo image of Brian giggle,.
and then they here Khan's right hand man tell him,.  They are
requesting Communications,.  and Khan says,  Let them Eat
static.. and the right hand man says,  They're still running with
shields down,  and Khan says,  Of course were friends... Were one
big happy fleet!.. then they hear him say,  Ah.. Kirk my old
friend.. have you ever heard of the klingon proverb about
revenge.. Its a dish that's best served cold... It is vary Cold
in Space,.


     What Khan just said give Gabrielle the shivers,. Xena
notices it and puts her arm over Gabbys shoulder and says,  Its
only a simulation.. Its not real,.   Gabrielle says,  I know
that.. but it was real at one time,.  


     Then they see the image of Brian giggle some more and say,  
If human friends do this to each other... I wonder what there
adversaries do to one another,.


     Then Khans right hand man goes over to another station and
says,  They still haven't raised there shields,.  Khan says, 
Rise ours,.  and the right hand man does,.  Khan then says,  Lock
Phasers on target,.  they see some kind of sights scope on a
screen with the other ship in it,.  and the right hand man says,
Locking Phasers on target,.





     Both Xena and Gabrielle knew from doing something similar
with Kitt what was about to happen,. and on the main screen they
see the ships as they start to pass one another and they hear
Khan shout,  FIRE !,. and they see beams streaking out at the
other ships hull and make contact that causes quite a bit of
damage to that big ship,.



     Gabrielle says,  I didn't know Kitt harnessed something that
could cause major damage like that,.   Xena was also astonished
over what they just seen,.  Callisto says,  Kitt couldn't hardly
scratch that ship with what he has.. The weapons on theses ships
and others like it are equipped with allot more stronger type of
phaser systems,.  Xena says, I think I understand that..  The
ships are much bigger,  so hence the weapons must also be
bigger,.  



     Xena and Gabrielle have seen how this Mad Man "Khan" has
pulled off a surprise attack and how quickly he's managed to
seriously damage and disable the other ship,.  And of course they
see Brian almost falling over himself in laughter over the events
he's indirectly caused to happen here,. and they hear him say, 
This is much better then I thought it would be.. They are a
barrel of laughs these humans in space... After all isn't this
what they enjoy and like doing and causing to happen to each
other,.



     Gabrielle ask,  Callisto how many people were on that ship
over there at the time ?,.   Callisto says,  hmm.. A Constitution
class starship generally had over 400 people on board in its
days,.  Xena ask,.  In its days... you mean they don't have them
around anymore ?,.  Callisto says,  this ship and the other one
are considered relics in this time... But they have kept this
class ship in service due to the fact it only requires a small
crew to man it and its still good for priority cargo
transportation in this time period,.


     Then shortly afterwards they Hear Khan telling the admiral
of how good is to act out his vengants on him and his ship, and
he wanted him to know who it was,... who had beaten him,.. but
the admiral tried to offer himself in return for sparing his
crew... but Khan wanted something more in return.. He wanted some
information about some project named Genesis and its materials,.  
and the admiral agrees to his terms or so it seems to them,.





     Xena notices that the captain / admiral of that ship is
trying to buy himself a few minutes... But for what.. and they
hear the conversations going on between Khan and this Captain,.
and the comments of Khan saying,.  Oh.. I've given you no word to
keep Admiral.. In my judgement you simply have no alternative..
and that ships Admiral says,  I see your point... Stand by to
receive our transmission.. and shortly after Khan says,  Times
up,.  and The Admiral says,  here it comes,.





     Then all of the sudden they notice that over at the station
Khan's right hand man is at.. He's scrambling over the controls
and says,  Sir our.. Shields are dropping,.  Khan shouts,  Rise
Them !.. with his eyes widening... The Right hand man says,  I
can't,..  and Khans eyes go wildly looking around and he shouts..
Wares the Override....  The Override,..   During this Brian is in
complete laughter again,.  and the ship starts rocking and things
start exploding and coming apart,.   Khan shouts.. FIRE.. FIRE... 
and the right hand man says,  We can't fire... Khan yells,.  Why
can't you,.  he says,  They've damaged the photon controls and
the warp drive.... We must with drawl..  Khan yells.. NO.. NO..
and the right hand man says,  We Must!,.  They aren't going any
ware with the damage they have,.  and they retreat for the time
been,.    Then after all of this and the fight is over Brian
having gotten his amusement out of both sides says,  Well they
have, Certainly provided me with more then enough amusement and
he disappears,.




     Gabrielle says,  I can now see all of the reasons just here
why they sent him to us,.  Xena agrees and says,  But what does
this have to do with the timelines ?,.   Callisto says,  There is
more going on and going to happen then meets your eyes,.





     Xena says,  Its something to do with that other ship.. Isn't
it ?,.    Callisto says,  Yes that's a main part of it.. but
theirs something else too,.  Xena ask,  Can you make this Holo
thing to recreate that other ship and crew ?,.  Callisto says,
Yes that's part of the lesson if you want to see it,.   Xena and
Gabrielle think it over,.  Xena says, Why not,.  






     Callisto catches on and says,  Why... You two are curious
about them aren't you ?,.   Gabrielle says,  We are.. and we've
both seen nought of this mad man that called himself Khan.. Even
if he has a spaceship... He's just another spreader of hate and
violence.. and deaths.. with it,.  Xena ask,   Do they have allot
of Mad Men running around in these starships doing what he does..
Causing Terror for others with them,.   Callisto says,  Fortuity
vary few of them manage to get there hands on something like this
to cause and rake havoc for others,.  





     Then Callisto says,  Computer change simulation program. put
us on the U.S.S.  Enterprise Ncc 1701.  Just before Khan attacked
it.. Add crew and hold movement and interaction between them.. It
will be the same as here... the three of us will not interact
with them only watch and observe,.  Computer says,  Ready and
they appear on the bridge of the other ship,.  The crews in it
but not moving,.  Gabrielle looks around and says,  Well the
uniforms are the same as what Brian has always wore.. and she
says,  The Bridge is almost the same as that other one.. and then
she notices the vulcan woman at the center seat with the pointed
ears,.  Gabrielle ask,.  Ware is she from ?,.





     Callisto says,  She is half Vulcan half Romulin,.  The other
one with the ears like hers is half Vulcan half Human,.  Xena
says,  Interesting.. and wares that Admiral at.. I don't see him
here,.  Callisto says,  why don't we tour this ship and then I'll
start the program when we find them,.  And they both agree to
that,.






     Once they found this Admiral in one of the corridors,.  Just
before Callisto starts things moving,. Xena says,  I noticed that
most of the people on this ship are young if not younger then
Gabrielle.. when I first met her,.   Callisto says,  allot of
them are...They were just getting ready to complete there academy
training,  This was suppose to be there final stage of having an
actual training cruse of a real starship,.






     Gabrielle says, By the gods... He caused injuries if not
deaths of inexperienced young people on this ship indirectly in
the process,.  Callisto says,  That and other things happened
here too,  As were about to see,.  and she tells the computer to
start animation of the crew,.   Kirk walks into Spocks quarters
and tells him he needs him to take the ship to some place called
reggula one,.   and they over hear everything being said and Kirk
exits,.   Gabrielle ask,.  I can tell they have known each other
for a long time.. and are best of friends like me and you are
Xena...and you to Callisto,.       Callisto says,  They are in
fact that,.  and the three of them head back up to the bridge to
ware spock is now going to,.




     Later on they Seen the presentation of the Genesis project
and what its all about,.  Xena and Callisto are slightly amused 
about how this Ships Doctor is taking all of this,.  and they
here the Bridge reporting the other ship is coming,. and Kirk and
party exit and head for the bridge,.   Gabrielle says, That
Doctor was right about that thing... It could both Kill and
create life at the same time,.   Xena thinks over the
implications and says,  Shes right.. and Brian being so
irresponsible back then... Had allowed a mad man to know about
this thing,...It could be used as a atrocious weapon against
other worlds,.   




     Gabrielle says,  I don't know much about this ship or how
things work here.. but from what I understood Xena he said..
There talking about universal armageddon,.  Callisto says,  Well
one of them devices no... but allot of them Yes.. but that thing
is and was capable of affecting an entire planetary solar system
like this one and our old home Earth,.





     Xena and Gabrielle look at that and Xena ask,  Did that Khan
ever get his hands on it ?,.   Callisto says,  Yes he vary well
did,.  Callisto says,  Computer stop crew animation,. Xena says,
I'd like to see how that Admiral managed to pull off what he did
to the ship Khan commandeered,.  Callisto says, Oh.. I thought
you wouldn't have been interested since you'd seen how this ship
was attack to see it all again on the receiving end of it,.






     Xena looks to Gabby who nods kind of yes.. but she doesn't
and hasn't ever really cared for violent acts,.  They head back
up to the bridge and Callisto starts the simulation up and tells
the computer to release the safety protocols to level 2 so they
can feel the affects of it rocking and coming apart in the
attack,.   Xena smiles and says,  for some fun,.  Callisto smiles
back and says,  Yeah... why not,.  but hold on or you could find
yourself thrown on the other side of the railing or this bridge,. 
then it starts and they see what was going on before Khan fired
on them,.  and then see and feel some of the affects of the
attack,.  Gabrielle slid under the railing and went into the
command pool circle,.  Xena and Callisto got thrown into the
rails,.  Xena says,  for something that isn't real it sure felt
like it.. and she goes and helps Gabby back to her feet,. 
Callisto says,  well I did say hold on,.   Gabrielle didn't get
hurt just a little shaken up,. 




     Then they see Kirk and Spock looking over the damage that's
been done so far and then Kirk starts ordering them to divert all
power to the phasers.. and Spock says,  To Late,.   and Kirk
yells.. Hang On,.   and this time they do,.   and a torpedo hits
the bridge and things start exploding and a control center behind
them also explodes with fire,.. and they see  fragments flying
all over from behind and threw them,.   Xena says, That thing
just went off with a bang and yet nothing happened to us,.. How
?,.  Callisto says,  Its part of the safety protocols.. so you
don't get seriously hurt if not even killed,.. from something
that isn't supost to be real,.   



     Gabrielle says,  You mean they can be removed and it would
be like the real thing with out them,.  Callisto says,  Yes I
could deactivate all of the safety's and it would be like it was
really happening to us and it could hurt or even kill you,.





     Then they see this time kirk helping out this young vulcan
women with the controls and Kirk telling her you have to
understand how and why things work on a startship,.  and him and
spock talking about a prefix code,. and talking it over with the
vulcan woman how and what they are about to do here,.    and they
see spock key something and Khans ships shields go down,.






     Xena says,  I understand some of how they just did that,...
And why this Admiral Kirk was trying to buy time,... I thought at
the time when we were over there something went wrong with the
controls on that ship... I didn't think Kirk did it,.  Callisto
smiles and says,  actually this is the first time I've ever seen
him... I only read about him in human space travailing history
and some of his adventures,... and she looks at Xena and
Gabrielle and says,  You know in a funny sense Xena he was allot
like you in many ways,.


     Xena smirks and ask,  Oh.. How ?,.   Callisto says,  for
starters... He stared down at others who made the claim of being
God,... and also Stared down at mad men and tyrants just like
you've done and still do,.   Xena ask,  You said this happened in
history how long ago from our current time ?,.   Callisto says,
about 75 to 80 years ago,.



     Xena and Gabrielle confide with each other and Xena says, 
No he couldn't be alive by now.. Gabrielle its been almost 80
years,.   Gabrielle says,  yeah... but looks to Callisto and
ask,.  Is he still around or is he long gone ?,.



     Callisto says,  From what I know ,  He died wile on some
rescue mission after he had retired,.   Xena says, after he got
old and retired he was still out doing things for others,.. I
guess that's better then dying from rocking chair boredom,.
Gabrielle says,  Well I'll never meet the real Kirk then,.. But
what about his Vulcan friend ?,.   Callisto says,  Believe it or
not.. He's still alive,.  Xena and Gabrielle are surprised by
this and Xena ask,  How did he manage to cheat ageing and all the
years ?,.  Callisto says,  Vulcans don't age as fast as humans
do.. They have a life span of 120 years or more,.  Xena says,
Wow.. now that's a long life for any mortal I know of,.  Callisto
says,  You two still have allot ahead of yourselfs yet to come,.



     Then Callisto says,  Well not too much happens at this
point.. I'll stop and restart just before there final battle,.
Xena says,  what happened before it ?,.  Callisto says, Khan
managed to get the genesis device and is now looking for this
ship again,..  Xena says,  I see then,.  Callisto says, Computer
put us on the genesis cave now,.  and the simulation changes and
they here Kirk going on about his starfleet academy days and how
he had beaten the no win test,.





     The Vulcan woman says,  then you never faced that
situation.. Faced death,.  and Kirk says,  I don't believe in a
no win scenario,.  and Kirk pulls out something similar to what
both Xena and Gabrielle have seen and used a few times to talk
with Kitt,. and say,  Kirk to Spock its two hours are you ready,.
and they hear spock say,  Right on schedule Admiral... Just send
us your location and we'll beam you aboard,.  and Kirk does
something with his communicator so they can locate them,. Then
Kirk tells the Vulcan woman as he's eating an apple... I don't
like to lose,.   and for both Xena and Gabrielle's first time
they see a Transporter affect,.




     Both Gabrielle and Xena are amazed over what they just
seen,.  Xena says, You didn't tell us they had powers to do what
the Olympian Gods and the Q's do,.   Callisto says,  That wasn't
any kind of powers or what you two are farmilar with,.  Gabrielle
ask,.  Then what did we just see there ?,.  Callisto says,  we
seen there bodies transformed into energy and converted and moved
to some ware else,... Its not the same due to the fact when I
transport you.. you are still solid and fully intact,.   Xena
says,  I've guess we have allot to learn about in this new time
era then,.   and Gabrielle agrees with that,.  and ask,  So
humans... and other people made this with out any god like
powers,.   Callisto says,  yes mortals made this,.  with out help
of a god or a Q for that fact but... they don't have it quite
right either,... but they are close enough for now,.



     Xena and Gabrielle take a good look at the genesis cave and
are almost overwhelmed by its beauty,.  Xena says,  they did
this.. Its almost a miracle.. but you said its going to some how
be a failure later on.. Why ?,.   Callisto says,  They didn't
have a few things quite right in the matrix and combination of
things that's why... but its still a big accomplishment for
mortals,.



     Gabrielle says,  that's too bad,.  It wasn't a success for
them... This is almost a small paradise,.  Xena agrees and then
Callisto says,  Well would you like to proceed or stop here,. 
Gabrielle says,  how much more is there,.   Callisto says, Well
if you really want to know.. I'd rather have the simulation run
and show you,.   Gabrielle says,  Ok,.  and Callisto tells the
computer to take them to the beginning of the Mutarra Nebula
Battle..and to keep running until asked to stop,.





     Then they are back on the bridge and Kirk comes back in and
orders the ship to battle stations,.   they see and hear Spock
and Kirk assessing the ships situation and condition against the
other ships condition,.  Spock tells him they can still out run
and out gun us Admiral but how ever there is the Mutarra Nebula,.
and then Kirk asking his engineer can we make it,.  scotty says,
sure but don't give me too many bumps the mains are bypassed like
a christmas tree,.  Kirk tells him that he can't make promise of
that,. 



      Xena and Gabrielle managed a small smile over that and hear
the Vulcan woman say,   Problems with the Nebula "sir"  is all
the static and discharged gases... our visuals won't function and
shields will be useless,.




     Xena and Gabrielle were just wondering what is the strategy
over entering this place and hear spocks comments to the vulcan
woman,.  Sauce for the Goose,... The odds will be even,. 



     Xena ask callisto to hold the simulation for a minute,. 
Callisto does,.   Xena says,  I think your right.. That Admiral
was in a strange sense allot like myself even thou he's a guy,. 
Gabrielle says,  yeah but whats even stranger is both of them in
a funny sense also parreadell you and me.. Xena,.   Xena says, 
Yeah.. thousands of years into the future and we find two even if
they aren't women... they are allot like you and me... Except for
all the technologies here that we didn't have,... I wonder
sometimes if this is what Brian meant about vary few persons
being like you and me,.   Callisto thinks this over and says,  It
vary well might have been what he was talking about,.







     Xena says,  Yes.. I see some of it... They went up against
all the odds here.. and like I have done.. I've always look for
anyway to get an advantage over my adversaries,.  Gabrielle
agrees with that statement,.  and Callisto starts the program
moving again,.







     Then the ship rocks and the vulcan woman says,  that was
close,.  Kirk says,  They just don't want us going in there,.
Then as they are nearing the nebula they hear spock reporting to
Kirk about the Reliant "Khan's ship" that's slowing down,.



     Kirk tells the woman at the communications to patch him in,.
and Kirk starts taunting  Khan  and says,   This is Admiral
Kirk.. We tried it once your way Khan... Are you game for a
rematch.... Khan!.. I'm laughing at the superior intellect,.



     Gabrielle and Callisto see Xena's eyes and facial
expressions fill with glee,.  Gabrielle ask,  Did we miss
something here ?,.  Xena says,  He just bated and edged him on...
Look,.  and on the screen they see Khan's ship speed up and Kirk
says,  I'll say this for him... He's consistent,.




     Gabrielle says,  I don't believe this... I'm seeing someone
that in a strange sense acts like Xena.. This far into the
future,.   Xena says,  NO...  Gabrielle you'd have to be a
warrior to understand someone like him,... and you aren't,. 
Gabrielle pouts a little,.  




     Callisto says to Gabby,  Oh.. My Dear.. its not you... you
see xena and myself understand some of the driving forces behind
people like him and we are or were,.  Gabrielle ask,  and what
driving force is that behind people like him.. Xena and you ?,.  
Callisto says,  seeing how close we can come to deaths eyes and
pulling it off... and cheating it in the end,.






     Gabrielle says,  Yeah... I think I know... Its the thrill of
the danger and like wise... The rush out of it,.  Xena says, 
Well maybe,.  and then the search and fight has begun inside the
nebula,.    Shortly later on The ship gets hit and they return
fire and hit the other one,.






     They see and hear Kirk and Spock confide with each other,. 
Kirk says, He won't brake off now...  He followed me this far...
He'll be back... But from ware ?,.  Spock tells him about Khan's
intellegents can't make up for his lack of experience,.   This
Gives Kirk an idea now,.  and Kirk gives and order to do
something with the ship.. That wouldn't be normal in a battle,.
and the Guy from the other ship with the funny accent enters the
bridge and ask,  Admiral could you use another hand,.  Kirk says, 
Man the weapons console cheove,.  Xena can tell this man still
isn't fully recovered from his injuries from something Khan had
done to him earlier,... But this man doesn't feel well either due
to the fact he had involuntarily helped Khan with hijacking the
Reliant and the deaths and people that were hurt because of it,. 






     Then they finely find Khan's ship and are right behind him
and start firing,.   Xena was vary impressed by the barrage of
weapons and the Torpedoes that went off,..   Xena kind of
wondered does a ship sink like they do in the water and wondered
what happens to them in space,.   Then Callisto motions for only
Xena with facial and body expressions to come over next to her
and leave Gabrielle there,.   Xena does and they both exit the
bridge leaving Gabby behind,.





     Xena was wondering why she didn't want Gabrielle to come
along and ask Callisto who says,  Me and you are going to see a
terrible death that's going take place in a few minutes ware were
going to and as you know Gabrielle doesn't take things like that
as you and I can,.  Xena agrees with callisto about that and
says,  Yeah,.. she could never get use to that,.   they head for
the engineering,.   



     They Enter it and Xena can see lights and hear warning beeps
going off every ware,.    On the Bridge  Gabrielles wondering why
Khan nor anyone on that ship has replied back to acknowledge
there surrender... For a moment she thought they might all be
Dead on that ship then she hears spock informing others the he's
seeing something on the scanners he's never seen before,.  and
Gabby out of curiosity walks over next to spocks area,.






     Kirk walks over to spocks station and looks at it then a
younger man one of the scientist looks and says,  Its the Genesis
device its on a Build up to detonation,.    Kirk says,  We'll
beam aboard and stop it,.   The young Scientist says,  you
can't... Once it has been activated...There's no way to stop it,.
and Kirk ask,  How Long ?,.  the young scientist says,  Four
Minutes,.  Kirk then calls to his ships engineering and says, 
Scotty.. We need Warp Speed in Three minutes or were all Dead,.
but theirs no reply from engineering,.  and Kirk tells sulu get
us out of here at best speed,.




     Gabrielle hasn't noticed since she was to into what was
going on here that Xena and Callisto have left,.  Then she sees
spock stand up and exit the Bridge...She though well maybe he's
gone to see if he can help out in the engine room,.   Then she
looks around and notices that Xena nor Callisto are here either,.
and wonders what part of this simulated ship have they gone to..
but then she gets back into whats going on again and can tell the
people here are all terrified of what could be a certain death
from that device This Mad Man Khan has started up on a count down
to blow up,.



     Gabrielle toke Spocks empty seat since she was on the tired
side from standing threw out this simulation,.  She's looking at
the main screen that's set to aft view of the Reliant that's
behind them,.  and she hears kirk inquire about the distance from
the Reliant,.  and Cheove with his funny accent says,  Four
thousand kilometers,.. and then Sulu says,  We aren't going to
make it are we ?,.  Kirk then looks over to the young scientist
that's standing near her who shakes his head in a hopeless No,. 
Even Gabrielle has resigned to the same hopeless fact.. They
aren't going to get out of here and this time Death is more then
certain,.






     Then all of the sudden another Young officer over seeing
some other station becomes joyed and Yells,  "SIR"  The Mains are
back on line,.  and this is the vary last moment before the
estimated time of detonation too,.  Kirk says,  Bless you
Scotty.. GO SULU!,.   






     Gabrielle looks at the screen again and sees the Explosion  
starts taking place on the Reliant,.  Then The Warp Drive Kicks
in and as they are pulling away the same time with the explosion
and the Genesis affects making circles just behind them,.  
Gabrielle is amazed by this...She's never seen anything close to
it not even from the Olympian Gods nor any of the Q's,.   and the
bridge crew is also astonished by the Beauty they are seeing
before them from this new planet and planetary system and sun
that's forming from ware the Reliant once was,.  Gabrielle says
to herself,  That thing that was threatening them with certain
death is now creating life ..  Its so Beautiful... I hope Xena's
seeing this ware ever her and Callisto went to on this simulated
ship and program,.





     Then she hears Kirk Call his engineer to thank him for
saving everyone on the ship and the funny thing she even noticed
was that it wasn't the engineers voice,  but the voice of that
funny but cranky old Doctor who replied,.   Jim.... I think you
better get down here... better hurry,.  and then Kirk quickly
exits the bridge,.   Gabrielle is wondering ware Xena and
Callisto could have gone to.. she thinks it over and exits the
bridge in search of them,.





     In the Engineering room Spock has just said his farewell to
kirk just before he died from the radiation in the containment
compartment,.   Both Xena and Callisto were emotionally touched
by this scene that was just before them and Kirk just sitting
there in total disbelieve of losing his best friend he's ever had
in his life,.   Xena says,  I see why you didn't want Gabrielle
to see and hear this,.   Callisto says, Yes.. and this is what
caused the corruption in the time line too,.   Gabrielle has just
managed to find her way to them and sees what has happened here
and why the doctor was in the engine room,. 






     Callisto tells the computer to remove the crew for the time
being,.  all that remains is the empty engine room with the three
of them in it,.   Xena ask,  So how did his death cause a change
in the time line,.





     Gabrielle is wondering and says,  Wait a minute... Didn't
you say that the Vulcan Spock was alive in the future ?,. 
Callisto says, yes he is... and I'll show you how and why he is,.
but first I'll tell you how and what happened first and they exit
the engine room and go back to the bridge and sit down again,.




     Callisto says,  Ok. from what I was told over brians
meddling here and not warning the Crew of the Reliant about Khan
and his henchmen..  from this point on if spock were to remain
dead an extremely destructive war would take place much later
on,.   Xena ask,  How ?,.




     Callisto then go's into some of the details,.   Ok shortly
after this, Kirk lost his only child "Son"  That young scientist
you seen here is or was his son.. Who had been Killed on a
science vessel that was destroyed,  by the Klingons in an attempt
to obtain information on how to build the Genesis device,. 
Gabrielle softly ask, and what happened to kirk after that ?,.





     Callisto says,   He retired and left starfleet a vary bitter
and empty man shortly afterwards,.  Xena says,  and that caused a
war what shouldn't have happened ?,.   Callisto says,  Well not
really,...  But he returned to starfleet later on.. Due to the
fact when tensions were high with the klingons and they had just
played part in a terrorist act and had the top brass and the
president of the federation assassinated and killed off.. and
shortly afterwards started to invade federation territory in an
act of declared war against them,.





     Gabrielle says,  So he returned to act vengeance out on them
for the death of his only son,.   Callisto says,  Yes.. but let
me tell you what happened,.  Gabrielle and Xena tell her to
continue,.








      Callisto does,.   So the Federation and Starfleet short on
experienced High ranking Officers...  they came to Kirks door
step literally asking if not begging him for his experience and
help,.   by that time Kirk had turned into a vary bitter and cold
man but they didn't realize it,.  His favorite slogans about the
klingons became and were,  Don't believe them.. Don't Trust them, 
There Animals ... Not people,.  




     Gabrielle says,  He totally hated them by the sounds of it
and could care less if they were all dead,.   Callistos says,
Your right,.  Xena says,  That kind of Hate and Rage lead on to
something tearable didn't it ?,.  Callisto says,  It did and he
didn't even realize it until the damage was done and could never
be undone,.   Xena says,  and what went on ?,.



     Callisto continues,.  any ways,... They were at war with the
klingons for several years and Kirk was a Feet Admiral besides
the Admiral who was the Star Fleet commander,.  and they were
showing a victory after victory over the klingons who wanted to
end the war.. In Which this Admiral above kirk and along with
kirk made terms of the Klingons surrendering and ending the war
vary harsh and unacceptable to there honor... so the war
continued... But all that kirk cared about was his vengeance
against them and nothing more,.  that blinded him too,... he
wasn't paying attention to the events going on at the home
front,.   Federation counsel members were been Killed by what was
believed as klingon spies and assassins,.



     Xena says,  There was more going on then what others were
lead to believe was going on,.  Callisto says, Yes there was
Xena... Kirk didn't realize that the Admiral above him as the
starfleet commander was from an organization deep within
starfleet known as section 31,... A security and covert
operations organization that was exstereamly ruthless,.





     Xena says,  So they were murdering there own people in power
and anybody who got out of line was eliminated quietly and it was
made to look like enemy spies had it done,... So what happened
from there ?,.





     Callisto continues,.   anyways with the klingons facing
certain defeat by Kirk and the rest of starfleet went running to
the Romulin Star Empire who were also vary much at edge over how
powerful the federation had become in a matter of years and they
feared they were its next target,... So what remained of the
Klingon forces joined with the Romulin Star Empire who in return
declared war against the federation and Starfleet... This changed
the game for them and since allot of people below and above Kirk
were ruthless people and were now facing a certain defeat... They
invented a vary dreadful weapon using some of the materials and
technologies out of the Genesis project,.




     Gabrielle says, By the Gods they and He did it then ?,. 
Callisto says,  since he wasn't paying close attention to what
was really happening he didn't realize what he had when they went
out on the final attack of this war,.  and plus to the fact they
then equipped starfleet vessels with Cloaking devices,.  They
went on a final attack of both the Klingon and Romulin Star
Empires with only Thirty Starships on this final mission,.




     Kirk was on the leading flag ship leading all of this.. He
was lead to believe that he had a new type of Torpedo that acted
like a delayed bomb to destroy a moon base in the romulus
planetary system,.   Anyways they were told to shoot off the
torpedoes and turn and run at full warp under cloak in which they
all did,.   Kirk was monitoring with long range scanners when
they were far enough to see what happened at a certain time they
were all set to go off,.    



     Gabrielle says,  His total hate and rage blinded him and
made him become a monster and mass Murderer of Children,.  
Callisto says, yes and I'll finish off now,.




     Callisto does,.  anyways when the detonation happened and
after it settled down their was nothing left of either the
Klingon nor Romulin Empire's except for a few on ships far out
that managed to survive,.







     Kirk having seen the damage and total destruction couldn't
believe what he had done to all of the people on them worlds,.
and then realized they used something his son had made to create
life from lifelessness... not to make lifelessness out of life,. 
He found his Vengeance filled but then the reality finely set in
and he now Realized he had taken part in the mass and almost
total annihilation of not only one race but others now,.   He
ranted on... I only wanted to wipe out they're militaries not
they're Children...  Look!  What have we done here to all of
them,...  and tears had come from him over the deaths of innocent
children and other innocents not by millions but on the scale of
Billions in his name.. and on his hands  he said,... some of his
last words were,.  How could I have allowed myself to come to
this.. and not see that coming... and he stumbled in the captains
chair in total shock for his vary last time ever and the vary
last thing spoken from him wile still sane was... My God.... What
Have we done ...   and he was later carried off the bridge to the
sick bay and never recovered to his normal self ever again..  He
went insane in a comatose type state of mind from the shock of
what he'd done out of Vengeance for his sons death,.





     Gabrielle was saddened by this story of events and asked,.
and what happened to the persons who had conspired all of this
?,.  Callisto says,  The Federation Council finally after this
attack had enough backing from other Starfleet officers to sift
out the ones responsible for the total destruction of both the
Romulin and Klingon Empires... They were all executed for their
parts,.   Evidence didn't point or indicate that Kirk was aware
of what was going on or going to take place nor had he taken any
parts of the murders of other starfleet personnel nor federation
council members,.   he was later honorably retired and discharged
from starfleet with the highest honors,.  and he was under the
care of his physician and friend... and lived with him until the
day he passed away with out ever recovering his sanity,.


     Xena says,  So how did Spock prevent this from happening,. 
Callisto says,  Ok... When that moon blew up and the Klingons
were in trouble... Spock along with his Vulcan Father who was
also the Vulcan ambassador opened up peace talks rather then
allowing the tensions continue to build up,... it was a rough
road but war was averted,.. and plus Kirk came around to
forgiving the Klingons for the death of his son... Because he
realized that      his Hate had mislead him to believe of
Klingons,...  That they were animals and nothing more,.






     Gabrielle says,  Xena...  Kirk was driven by some of the
same forces that drove you at one time and still do at times...
except he kept it under control until what happened to him,.  
Xena says,  Yeah.. its strange but I think your right.. and look
what I did.. I only killed thousands not billions,... and he went
mad from the guilt of it,... Xena ask,  So how was it made
possible to bring Spock back from the dead... another Violation
of the Q's prime directives ?,.   Callisto says,  Well not
really.. but close enough but not quite that and she gets out of
her seat on this recreated bridge of the enterprise 1701 and they
head for the ships morgue.



     They Enter it and Callisto starts the simulation up.. and
they See Brian's Mother and another member from the Q continuum
they have never met before,.  The two women are talking,.  the
woman Q says,   Its a good thing my presents was around in the
future... I knew something had gone wrong in the past.. It was
funny when All of the sudden things started disappearing all
around on one of the klingon worlds,... and I narrowed it all
down to this vulcan not been present in there future,.. and it
all points down at your son,.



     Brian's mother looks over some kind of hand device and says, 
What has he been doing to these humans...  Then she uses her
powers and can view Brian laughing at Khans actions earlier,. She
says,  He'd somehow pitted him against theses humans on this
ship.. and she looks further into history and sees that Khan was
an evil person with ill will... and then realizes that Khan's
over two hundred years old,.  and then finds out how he managed
to live so long and then she finds out about Brian's actions of
moving the two planets obits into each others known positions,..
She knew Khan was a mad mortal man,.





       She didn't blame him on that part but then found out he
much later on caused interference to that ships equipment and
then chuckled over Khan and is actions,..  The other Woman Q
says,  He's been doing what his Uncle and other Cousin has done
to Mortals or Humans... He's been using them for his amusement
and more then likely has tormented others you nor I know of as of
yet,.







     Brian's mother says,  I suspected he was up to something but
I didn't realize it was this deep.. and she becomes disgusted and
says,  He's been down right cruel and mean to them...  she's
looking at other things she's just tracked down that he's
done,... I don't believe it... Now I know how he has managed to
cover his tracks,   I know ware to look... Others have hurt one
another and even killed one another.. that he's caused one way or
the other to happen... and he sits back and laughs at them as
they are going at one another,.  






     The other Q Woman says,  You know what this could or might
mean ?,.   She furiously says,  He's going to pay for his actions
one way or the other... I caught him several other times... But
no punishment seems to work that I met out to him,... I'm going
to have to find something the will work... I'll ask my brother
for help too... Even thou he's a bit of a trouble maker
himself,...  I'm sure he'd find something that will be fitting
for him...  she's in total discussed now... He's caused the
Deaths of Billions indirectly and somehow directly,.   I'll find
a punishment for him... and I'm going to turn him in after we
find one,.  






     The other Q woman says,   Lets see he's a Vulcan right ?,. 
brians mother says,  Yes I believe his name was spock,... but
he's already dead,.   The Q woman says,  yes in a sense he is..
but who has his Kattra ?,..  and then she views an image,.  and
says, One of his shipmates possesses it...  and they exit and
head for the Torpedo loading bay and start fiddling with the
controls.. She tells Brians mother they already have his coffin
or tube ready I'll just temper with the controls and fix this
thing so it will soft land,.    Brians mother says,  The affects
of that device that made this system are still in flux on the
planet... but it isn't stable and I don't think the Humans know
it yet,.











     The other woman says,  But if spock is regenerated and
bought back... and by the looks of things its going to be close
call but they are going to pull threw,.  Brian's mother ask ?,. 
At what Cost ?,.   The woman views further images and they both
see whats in store she says,  Kirk's going to steal and destroy
this ship in orbit of this failed world,... He'll manage to get
the vulcan and others backing him off this world at the vary last
moment.. but things will work them selfs out,.   Brian's mother
says,  Its a good thing they set that device off here and at the
right time in the right order of events are set to take place.. 
Were lucky we can fix some of the damage he's done and make it
some what right,.   The other Q woman and Brian's mother are vary
good friends and Xena and Gabrielle can tell this,.  She tells
brians mother, Its no problem... I still owe you a few anyways,..
but its better I found out then someone else,.  Brian's mother
says,  Thanks allot and they both disappear then,.




     Xena says,  and this is when his now your  Q continuum
mother had the last straw of the things he's done to others that
were defenseless to stop him from doing what ever he pleased to
cause or do to them,.   Callisto says,  Yes and you know how they
fixed some of the damage and how spock was brought back with out
any Q using powers to bring him back,.



     Gabrielle ask,  What is a Kattra ? ,.  Callisto says,  Well
since you didn't see it and an image forms and they see spock
give McCoy the nerve pinch on the side of the neck and shoulders
and then do something else,.   Callisto says,  They are somewhat
Tellephathick beings and can even do what they call a mind meld
into anothers mind,... and can even transfer there assents when
death is near or imminent,.



     Xena says,  I'd still love to know how they do that nerve
pinch to knock out others,.  Callisto smiles and says,  Maybe one
day I'll show you how.. but your neck pinch is allot more scary
then the one the vulcans do,.  Gabrielle ask,  Is there melding
minds the same as how Brian Joined with us ?,.   Callisto says,
Similar but not quite the same either,.... Vulcans go directly to
your mind... Brian went into your soul and assents then your
mind,.   Gabrielle says,  No wonder why is was kind of exciting
and pleasureful to experience it,. 







     Xena agrees with Gabrielle over what she just said,.  Now
Callisto ask,  Now do you two understand why I might not be good
for me or us to go and stop brian from doing what he done with
Solen ?,.    Xena says,  Yes.. You showed us the long way but
We've learned allot about what people are like in this future
even if this happened 80 years in its past ware we are now,.




     Gabrielle says,  I understand from seeing what we seen
today.. Sometimes it may be better to let something that happened
run its course in time because it could be for the better in the
long run,... And yes this was a vary interesting lesson to learn
too,.   Callisto smiles and says,  Well you'll be doing allot of
reading I hope  you've only got two thousand five hundred or more
years to catch up on,.



     Gabrielle ask,  we have to know that much ?,.  Callisto
says, I was just joking ... most people are only farmillar with
the last two or three hundred years in this time... Only experts
of history know or think they know that far back,.   Gabrielle
says,  I think you had me and Xena worried.. Since we aren't
settled down yet,... In this time,.  Callisto reassures them
both...Don't worry it will work out fine for the both of you,...
and I'll help coach you along the bumps too... I promise the two
of you that much,.  



     Callisto then says,  Computer End simulation and exit,. and
then all of the sudden everything even the simulated ship
vanishes and they are in an empty looking room with all kinds of
pipes and other things they don't know anything about then the
doorway is over on a wall and they exit it and Callisto removes
the object out of the terminal on the wall,.   Xena says,  I'd
like to do something like this was again one day,.  Callisto
says,  In time we will... There will be days and times ahead
using the Holo suites.. To help you understand things that aren't
as easy to explain to you,.



     Xena says,  Wow We've been here all day its already dark,. 
Gabrielle says,  Yeah it is... but I guess time fly's by when
your enjoying yourself or having fun,.  Callisto agrees and says,
It sure does.. now let me see if you can make your own dinner
with the food replicators,.   





     Xena says,  Well I had a few trial and error's this morning
but I figured some of it out for breakfast... now lets see how
dinner will turn out,.   Gabrielle says, You should have seen my
breakfast this morning it was almost a disaster...  or I thought
it was almost that.. but my husband tried it out anyways and he
liked the... What did that call it cake Xena ?,.   Xena says,
Pancakes with some honey or syrup I think it was syrup.. but
might have been some new form of honey,.




     Callisto just smiles and says,  I think you and the others
will work this out.... But I'm going to have some printed menus
and what the food is so everyone will figure out how to work them
things.. It toke me a few trial and error's myself,.   Xena and
Gabrielle along with Callisto giggle that off,.




     [ Meanwhile ]




     Brian,  Solen and Brenda have been walking for hours and
hours now and have passed other Q's that are in the same
suspended state Just like Velaska is,.   Finally Brian stops
walking then they all sit down to take a brake... Brenda is still
at Brians side and with her hands into his.. Just like a child in
a strange place holding on to a parent,.   Brian says,  Solen I'm
sorry for all of this... You might have been better off dying the
other way.. If I'd known this would have happened.. I wouldn't
have done it like this,.




     Solen says,  There's no need to apologize to me nor to
her... You did what you thought was the best thing to do at the
time,.   Brian says,  What I was apologizing for was condemning
you along with myself and Brenda here is for us having to rome
oblivion until time its self stops,.... I vary may.. well have
condemned us all to rome this place for an almost eternity..
that's what I'm sorry for doing to you,.   Solen says,  I
understand and so does Brenda.. We were both linked to you in
that Joining,... You have nothing to be sorry for.. We both
agreed to what you did,.   Brian says,  I just wish I knew
better.. at the time,.. That's all,.





     Solen then ask brian if he can have his Q Tricorder for a
short wile,.  Brian says,  Oh.. You know how to use one ?,. 
Solen says,   Yes I do.. You had one inside Kitt and he showed me
how to work one of them,.  Brian pulls it off of his sides and
scans for any power or life sources and like the last time
nothing,... Brian hands it over to Solen and says,  Well if you
want to keep your self occupied with it here... I'm still not
able to locate anything or anyone with  it,.






     Solen thanks brian and takes it out of his hand,. and starts
changing the adjustments and settings,.   Brian says, I've
scanned for all and any kind of known life or even power that
would resemble a life force... I can't get anything not even us,. 
Since they were hunting when they came across the banchies Brian
had put the both of them in some brown/red  combat or commando
outfits with the Starfleet delta on them both,.




     Solen readjust the Q Tricorder to scan for all metal or
metallic sources or objects.. and gets the Delta pin registering
with it... and he locks out anything metal with-in thirty feet of
them and stars searching for anything Metallic or anything that
resembles metal or alloys with in scanning range that could be
vary far,.



     Brian's wondering what he's attempting to do but just sits
back and lets Solen enjoy himself,.  Then Solen moves the
Tricorder around and then it starts bleeping as if it were trying
to lock on to what it's set to search out for.. and after a few
minutes its locked on to a location and distance now,. 



     Brian says,  What do you have that I didn't get.. I just did
a search myself less then a few minutes ago,.   Solan Smiles and
says,  Well I guess yours and my friend Kitt taught me how to use
this device of yours,   Better then You know how to use it,. 
Brian not wanting to belittle Solen says,   Ok... I'll take it..
I must have overlooked something.. I should have been looking
for.. and didn't think to look for it...  So What do we have ?,.






     Solen says,   We have a metallic object to go and check
out,.  Brian is dumbfounded and says,  I'd never look for alloys
or metal objects in a place like this,.  Solen says,  I know..
but when playing around with it... A trick Kitt showed me.. You
can't find a life form and they are your enemies.. Look and scan
for their swords and other metals wile scanning.. One or the
other will show up as a general rule,.





     Brian says,  I guess.. We've got Kitt to thank.. If we ever
get that chance to thank him for showing you a few games and
things one can do with the tricorders,.  Solen smiles in return
and says,  Lets head for it then,.  Brian gets up along with
Brenda and who takes his hand again and they set out in the
direction of what ever this metal object may be,.
